Red Grouse Rolags / Punis

Red Grouse Rolags / Punis

Ask a question

The Red Grouse is most often seen on our bleakest moorlands.

The rotund little bird is mottled to help camouflage it in the heather. It's plumage is mainly brown, moving to a golden beige towards the neck, mottled with deep dark chocolate brown throughout. What is surprising is that within all of this amazing camouflage there is a sparkling black intelligent eye which seems to be surrounded by white eye liner - and then topped off with a bright red brow!

These Red Grouse rolags are made from 21 micron merino blended with black and white mulberry (bombyx) silk, crimson tussah silk and bronze Angelina. You will receive just over 100g of rolags in this colourway. Most of these fibres will felt.
