For a while the cheery goldfinches seemed to disappear from my bird feeders. I am glad to report that they are back with a vengeance now! Going through sunflower hearts at a rate of knots - although I have niger seeds out for them, they seem to prefer sunflower seeds.
One of the reasons that I adore these little birds so much, is that they are so colourful. They have flashes of bright red and yellow amongst their plumage. They also tend to arrive in small flocks, chattering, though normally they are very polite and wait in turn for their go at the feeder.
See here for more information on the goldfinch
These rolags / punis reflect the colours in the goldfinch's plumage. They contain white polworth fibre, coloured merino fibres, bright red tussah silk and black mulberry (bombyx) silk.
You will receive 100g of rolags, most of these fibres will felt.
